Death Cab Brings A Frightened Rabbit To Pittsburgh
"Bands that played there brought even hotter sounds to the crowds delight at Stage AE in Pittsburgh on a hot & humid night. Frightened Rabbit, a band from Scotland, opened the show. Not sure what to expect, I was very impressed and wished I had heard of them before. Some in the crowd gave the comparison to the bands sound like that of Mumford And Son. They do have a sound all their own. Nice to meet the band after the show at their merch tent. Go Dog Go! Ve Perro Ve played a wonderful set, all the fan favorites, with six songs from the new album. Live energy brings new depth and excitement to their songs. They had a great raport with the crowd, joking about the filming of the Batman movie and how it is disrupting. In honor, they did a cover version of the Adam West 60's Batman theme and proclaimed Mr. West the ultimate Batman. Played a very long encore which was nice. If either come to your town, they are not to be missed. I hope it doesn't take five more years before the next show here in Pittsburgh, and I hope to see Frightened Rabbit again soon as well."
